Facilitated by composer and musician Mike McEvoy, the Metanoisia Collective is an evolving group of musicians invited to experiment in co-authoring music with Nature. While music and sound are prioritised, visual stimuli from the natural world provide an interactive focal point for performers’ expressive and gestural responses, as well as for audiences’ connective engagement.

An equal share of all income generated by the Collective is donated to registered charities dedicated to protecting, restoring, and preserving the natural world. Nature is recognised as a co-author and contributor to the compositional process and is therefore entitled to an equal share of the intellectual property.
